    • Children from Pre K - 5th grade participated in the River City Church Vacation Bible School at Hollybrook. The 2009 VBS took place from June 16 - 19.

    • One goal of River City Church is to reach out to “the least, the last, and the lost” — we have been doing this in a number of ways for the past three years but recently have seen God open the door for us to do this in the community directly surrounding our church.  Our mission is to reach out to those that the world has cast aside: the orphan, widow, the elderly, poor, the broken, and anyone else who feels like the world and the church has given up on them. Our desire to live like Jesus has brought us to the McDuff area just past the CRM campus; a place filled with drugs, gangs, violence, and addiction. Each week we see new breakthroughs in these neighborhoods and have watched as God has provided for us each step of the way. God has been working mightily and bringing light into a very dark place! We want to live by faith and be the vessels God uses to usher in His Kingdom. We love on people as best we know how and distribute food (usually baked goods), Bibles, care packages (filled with toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.), and coffee. The response has been amazing so far, from both the church and those in the neighborhoods! God is so good!
