River City Church runs courses on a rotating but continual basis. All courses meet at the City Rescue Mission off of I-10 on McDuff Avenue, and are typically 6-8 weeks in length. Life Course, Marriage Course, Freedom Course, and more!
ROOTS Course
Find out where we're grounded...ROOTS is a six week interactive course will explore the roots of all ministry at River City Church. We will discuss the foundations that we believe are essential to transforming lives through ministering the grace and freedom of Jesus Christ. You will be introduced to our leadership, vision, values, and theological base while connecting with others in our community.
Topics covered include:
- Our distinctives
- Authority of Scripture
- Relationship vs. religion
- God's heart for the poor
- Our identity in Christ
- Gifts of the Spirit
