What’s available for my children?
Capturing Your Child's Imagination
We want our children to learn about God: that He is fun, creative, and loves them. Much of our children's value system is determined during their younger years. That is why we treat them as a ministry group, not a babysitting service. We teach the Bible in a fun and exciting way that encourages our children to live life to the full for God. Our goal is to make your children want to come to church every week.
Nursery (0-2 yrs old)
The Nursery Ministry is located in the yellow house by the basketball court. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean and loving environment for your children as they experience love and hope. The volunteers serving in this ministry actively pray and care for the children while they are with them.
Preschoolers (2 yrs old-Kindergarten)
Our Preschoolers are divided up by age and all are dismissed from the service at the same time:
The 2's Ministry is where we first begin to introduce our kids to worship. There is also time for an age appropriate story-based lesson from the Bible, and we often work on coloring pages that reinforce the lesson. Snacks are provided for the kids.
The 3's Ministry builds upon what is done with the 2's. The kids participate in active worship with lessons that usually include a hands-on craft to engage the kids. The lesson time is story-based and includes more age appropriate opportunities for the kids to act out in play what they are learning. Snacks are provided for the kids.
Zoom Club is for 4 yr olds - Kindergarten and is designed for action and movement – in worship and in play. A Bible lesson time might include a puppet show or a craft for the kids to work on. Time is set aside each week for the kids to intercede in prayer for each other, and snacks are provided for the kids.
Kids Crew (Grades 1-5)
Kids Crew is for children in elementary school and it meets in the CRM cafeteria. We are dismissed from the Sunday morning services after the children's songs. This ministry is designed especially for kids to be able to experience a FUN and authentic church service and ministry time. This is a high energy, relational ministry geared toward deepening and strengthening your child's faith both in and out of Sunday Mornings. Each Sunday there will be relevant lessons from the Bible with life applications, opportunities for your children to develop a prayer life as they pray and are being prayed for by their peers, a time for them to share what is going on in their lives, and a chance to encounter and learn about the Holy Spirit.
