Update and Testimony

RCC,

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to your church to see everyone, and I wanted to give you an update on how God is moving in my life. I was a student at CRM and came to RCC for over a year; every time growing stronger and stronger, loving God more and more.

For a long time after returning home from Iraq in 2004, I lived my life not knowing who I was and always pretending to be who everyone wanted me to be. That led to confusion in my life, and ultimately a drug addiction. I came to Florida from Elkhart, IN in search of a life-changing experience; to find that intimate relationship with God and, with His help, kick those bad habits of addiction.

Almost 2 1/2 yrs later: I have graduated the Life Builders program at CRM. I have been drug free for 2 1/2 yrs. I am an Account Executive for the company I work for. I live at the beach with my beautiful wife of 6 months, and I attend church regularly and have been over joyed with all of God’s blessings over my life. Today, I know who I am in Christ and I see myself through God’s eyes.

A friend once told me there are 3 types of Christians… those who are called, those who are chosen, and those who are so jacked up we need a Savior. I don’t really know which of those I am, but I’m glad I am His! Thank you for all of your prayers over the years and I hope to see you soon.

Seeking His Face Daily,
Beau
