Children and Worship

Last night Lily and I went to Journey church for a free concert with Trent Monk (formally of Monk and Neagle) He sings bluesy, acoustic Christian music. Lily has been wanting to experience going to a concert and has expressed her desire to discover what being at a concert was like. She knew some of his songs from 88.1 the Promise. At first she was timid and wanted me to join her up front by the stage and I did, but eventually she was very comfortable. I got to witness one of the most amazing things…. As I watched her and listened and worshiped, I saw her sit down on the edge of the stage and close her eyes and hold out her hands in her lap in worship. I just cried and thanked God and I can’t even explain this without tears welling up, because I just find it so amazing and I am so grateful for you all who have made this normal and made it so comfortable for her to open up and listen to God in her worship. It touches my heart and I love you!
